Welcome to Greece
On behalf of the Committees of the 3rd International Conference on Excellence in Education, I am delighted to invite you to Athens. Harokopio University is proud to organize this Conference on June 8-12, 2010.
The topics of the Conference are related to current research on giftedness, creativity, innovation and development in education and aim to improve the effectiveness of teachers and increase student learning. Prominent scholars and experts in the above fields from Europe and all over the world will participate in the Conference as keynote and invited speakers. In addition to keynote presentations, individuals are invited to submit abstracts for presentations as talks or as posters. There will be also time for discussion at various workshops.
Athens, a city worshipped by Gods and people, is a surprising destination. Furthermore, the Conference venue, a small University Campus with technologically advanced facilities and a beautiful garden surrounding it, a few minutes away from the historical centre of the city of Athens, makes it the ideal place to host this Conference.
The local and international Organizing Committees are determined to make the Conference both scientifically rewarding and socially enjoyable by offering its participants, in addition to the scientific program, the opportunity to attend cultural and social events in the city of Athens, which will be held after sessions on the second and third day of the Conference.

This information may be used by ICIE for notifying participants of future conferences and of any publications emerging from or related to this conference. The submitted paper will be published in the conference proceedings entitled :Excellence in Education 2010: Research-Strategic Planning-Development (Athens-Greece, June 8-11, 2010) which will be edited by Prof. Dr. Taisir Subhi Yamin. The proceedings will be published in two forms: hard copy and e-copy.
